Settling into My New City
I haven’t thought about blogging in a week apparently and I don’t remember what I’ve done and on what day. BUT I believe the next morning I went for brunch at Fidel’s with Warren, Martha, Meg, and Kristine. Later, we did the Amazing Race (finding things on campus and answering questions/completing tasks) on campus and Team Freedom (mostly Americans) came in fourth.
Later that night we did “Fresh and Chips” which was just fish and chips and ice cream on the beach with people from the Cube.
Friday night, a big group of us went out to Bru and got Burgerfuel afterward, which was possibly the best drunk food I have ever had in my life. I couldn’t figure out how to get in the bathroom because the door slid open and closed, so naturally, I stood there for 10 minutes waiting to come out.
We did a flat dinner on Sunday with all of my flatmates, which was nice.
Sharyn arrived on Monday and I got to see her. I hungout with some people from Vic with her for a few hours.
Things are getting spotty here, I need to be more consistent.
Tuesday, I started classes. I had Modern Drama and Journalism. Both seem promising. I hung out with Sharyn later and walked around with her.
Wednesday, I had Screenwriting. I then went snorkeling with Sharyn, her friend Ryan, and Kristine. We ate lunch at a burger truck and then went to the top of Mount Vic.
Later, a big group of us went to the zoo and I saw my first kiwi!!! Later on, we went to the library for 2 for 1 cocktails. We walked around Cuba aimlessly for a bit, then went to Pizza King around 1:30 for drunk pizza.
Today I didn’t have class, so I went to the beach and grocery shopping.
